LOS ANGELES, CA – May 24, 2019 – The Asian American Advertising Federation (3AF) announced today the winners from last night’s 3AF 2019 Excellence Awards competition. The awards were given out at 3AF’s annual conference, the 3AF 2018 Asian Marketing Summit, held yesterday in downtown Los Angeles. This year, the 3AF celebrated its 20th anniversary. The 3AF Summit is a unique forum for industry leaders, content creators, media companies, corporate marketers and other partners to converge in an in-depth discussion of the Asian consumer opportunity.
In the 3AF Creative Campaign of the Year category, the Gold award for first place went to Admerasia for the campaign entitled, “The Smart Living Campaign” for State Farm. Admerasia also took second place for their work for Twin Marquis, entitled “The Yum Chat Series.” Third place, or the bronze award, went to interTrend Communications for their campaign for Toyota Motors North America entitled, Corolla Hatchback Launch “Greater Than.”
On the client side, Money Gram was named as the 3AF Marketer of the Year, while the 3AF New Marketer of the Year award was bestowed on US Bank. The Korea Times, celebrating its 50th anniversary as a key media organization serving the Korean community, was named as the 3AF Media Partner of the Year.
Lastly, taking the award in the 3AF Digital Campaign of the Year category was Muse Communications for their work on behalf of client Acura entitled, “The Diamond Effect.”

Although we have made some great strides in 20 years, we have more to do in order to grow our industry and continue to promote the importance of the Asian American consumer.
