ASIAN AMERICAN ADVERTISING FEDERATION (3AF) ELECTS NEW PRESIDENT, VICE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS

LOS ANGELES, CA – March 4, 2025 – The Asian American Advertising Federation (3AF), the country’s primary resource for Asian marketing, Asian advertising, and the power of the Asian American consumer, announced today the election of a new President, Vice-President and several members of the 3AF Board of Directors.  All were elected for a two-year term.

Cheryl Lee, Executive Director, Intertrend, will serve as President.  Giancarlo Pacheco, CEO and Founder of Plan C Agency, was elected as Vice President.  

Deepti Kapur, Co-Founder/COO, Diya TV, will serve as a first-time 3AF Board member. 

Board members who were re-elected and will continue to serve are:  

  • Jay Kim, Managing Director, AAAZA
  • Howard Lichtman, Co-Founder, Ethnicity Matters
  • Indrajit Majumdar, President, Vin Media & Digital Solutions
  • Michael Moon, CEO, Prime Image Media
  • Jack Schwartz, General Manager, KTSF-TV
  • Erin Wang, AVP, Client Services, TDW+Co
  • Iris Yim, Principal, Sparkle Insights
  • Sam Yoon, Account Director, IW Group

Lee said, “This is more than just a leadership role—it’s a responsibility I take seriously. We are here to champion meaningful change, amplify our collective voice, and create new opportunities that push our industry forward. Together, we will work to ensure that Asian American marketing is not just recognized, but truly valued as a powerful force in business, media, and culture.”

Genny Hom-Franzen, 3AF Executive Director, said, “I’m excited for the next two years as we’ve elected a roster of resourceful and experienced professionals who are extremely passionate about the power of Asian American consumers.  With their dedication, connections, and belief in 3AF, we will continue to make an even bigger impact together.” 

The Asian American Advertising Federation (3AF) is a national trade organization comprised of Asian American advertising agencies, Asian market advertisers, Asian media companies and other industry specialists. Its mission is to advance the Asian American marketing and advertising industry for Asian American consumers through education, advocacy, promotion, and increased collaboration of all industry stakeholders including, but not limited to, marketers, agencies, research partners and media. Additionally, 3AF seeks to promote and encourage high standards of conduct and ethics among our members and our industry.
