Creative Agency of the Year Award 2007

It’s
time once again to submit your entries for the Asian
American Advertising Federation (3AF) Creative
Agency of the Year Award 2007. This special award is given
to an Asian-Pacific American agency that has demonstrated
creative excellence, and will be presented at a special
ceremony during 3AF’s Awards Dinner at the Marriot
JW Marriott Summerlin, Las Vegas on March 17-19, 2008.
The
Award is sponsored by 3AF, which was established
in February 1999 under the name The Association of
Asian
American Advertising Agencies, and is made-up of Asian-Pacific
American advertising agency principals, media organizations,
market research companies, advertisers, and strategic
partners. Its mission is to grow and build upon the
Asian-Pacific American advertising and marketing industries,
raise
public awareness of the importance of the Asian-Pacific
American market, and further professionalism within
the industry. |
Eligibility: Only 3AF member agencies

Submission: There is no limit
to the number of entries submitted by a member agency.
Please note “preparation
of entry” criteria listed below.
- Each entry must
be for one single campaign.
- Up to three (3) pieces
of work for one (1) campaign entry may be submitted.
- The
three (3) pieces of work for each campaign entry
may include any combination of creative materials
from
the following media: television, radio, magazines,
newspapers, out-of-home and Internet advertising.
- Note: each entering agency
must complete one (1) entry form for every campaign
entry and include up to three
(3) creative pieces for that campaign.
- The 3 pieces
of work submitted must be part of one integrated
campaign. Each piece of work must be accompanied
by
a completed summary form.
The submission dateline is Friday,
February 29, 2008, 5 p.m. (PDT).
All work submitted must have run during the 12 month
period from January 1 – December 31, 2007 within
the United States.
Judging Criteria: Entries will be
judged on creative excellence. Judges will include
a select number of
distinguished guests from within the advertising and media community.
All decisions are final.
Usage: The 3AF shall have the
right to publicize the submissions and their submitters
in connection with
the awards program.
Fee: A
$200 submission is required for each campaign entry.
Submissions of 2 or more will get a discounted rate
of $150 per entry. Please enclose a check made payable
to the Asian American Advertising Federation (3AF)
with your entry. |
Up to three
pieces of work are required for each campaign entry:
- English translations
of any non-English ads must be included.
- Broadcast: All broadcast
executions (TV and/or Radio) must be submitted on
a DVD. Do not submit individual video or audio tapes.
Radio spots should contain a title slide saying “Radio” and
the agency’s name should be shown on screen
while the audio is played. Do not include color bars
or credits. The DVD case should be clearly labeled
with the agency name. If in a language other than
English, please have subtitle translations across
the bottom of the screen.
- Print: Please
provide both printed hard copy and pdf soft copy
on CD per ad.
- Outdoor: Please
provide both printed hard copy and pdf soft copy
on CD per ad.
- Internet: For
each internet execution submitted please include
a CD and printout of screen captures.
